Manasquan Auto Diagnostics is the bar for which every other Auto Diagnostic/Repair shop should be measured; they are honest, highly skilled and above all they understand what service excellence all is about. The Owner/Operator, Sean, is as much hands on as any of his staff and he treats everyone with equal dignity and respect. I know this having sat in the shop and could see and hear the interaction he had with other customers, in person or on the phone, as if every customer were a family member. Their prices are more than reasonable, their diagnostics and repair are spot on and their time management is stellar, especially in an industry as finicky as this where everything is connected to everything else. As for the finer detail, I brought in my 2009 Venza to Manasquan Auto Diagnostics for a recent noise coming from the front end of the car that was starting to get a little more pronounced. Sean took the wheel and we went out for a drive where he immediately diagnosed it as the front left wheel bearing starting to go. We returned to the shop where Sean educated me on wheel bearing operation and repair. While on the lift he had the other bearings checked and made sure the one in question was not loose where it could cause further damage. Upon my appointment date I was given a loaner and by the time I got home I had received a text invite on my phone from Manasquan Auto Diagnostics for progress updates. Nice touch. Sean also noticed my oil change sticker was overdue and I told him I had just had an oil change in Florida where I live but they had forgotten to update the sticker with the milage and due date. Sean put on a new updated sticker to remind me. I also checked out their website where they have a client login for setting up appointments, etc as well as a video library of typical preventive care and educational clips. Awesome. My car is once again silent, with money left in my pocket. Now, If only I can get them to move their operation to FL.
